This guy called Frank rang me up and said who he was but couldn't recall the name of the company he was from. He said they’d posted me something and asked if it had arrived. I immediately guessed if I said no, he'd want my address to resend it, so I just told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Got two calls from this number today. Picked up the second time and the guy started talking about some credit deal from 2012. He even knew my previous address! When I told him I moved out 3 years ago, he asked for my current postcode. I just hung up and blocked him straight away.

Received a call on my mobile earlier today. As soon as I picked up, a chap on the other end enquired if my wife was about, and he even mentioned her name! I naturally wanted to know who he was, and he mentioned his name-though it's slipped my mind now. He then proceeded to ask, “Are you her husband?” at which point I decided it was best to just hang up. Quite strange, really!

PPI claims guy - when I asked him what his job was and why I kept getting loads of calls, he tried to explain by saying he gets loads of annoying calls from pension companies too, calling them "the worst ones." I told him, "No way, it’s the PPI people who are the worst, and you work for them." Just block ’em and move on with your life.
