Just to be clear, TPS doesn’t completely block all calls to numbers on it. Legit companies check the TPS before calling, but dodgy ones ignore it. If you get a call you don’t want, report it to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office).

Got a call from 01274061640 claiming to be from Windows but no voicemail left. Luckily I found this site and realised it’s a scam. Wouldn’t have known otherwise.

So, this person Andrea rang me up and as soon as I said the info she wanted wasn’t any of her concern, she just ended the call straight away. Bit rude if you ask me!

I received a phone call the other day where the caller inquired if I was Mr. Stockton. I promptly informed her that she must have dialled the wrong number. Immediately after that, the line was cut without so much as a 'sorry'. It definitely had the ring of a call centre, if you ask me!

They called but didn’t leave any message on the answering machine... bit odd really.

I called the number back pretending to be SATCO, but got told all the lines were busy. I just ended the call and put the number on block.

I received a peculiar call from an unknown number, and as soon as I didn't answer straight away, they simply disconnected. Quite baffling, really!

I was curious to find out if my windows were over a decade old because they mentioned offering a complimentary energy rating for such models. However, when I decided to pass on the opportunity, the person on the other end abruptly hung up on me! Quite rude, really.

Got a call from someone saying they were the police about a dodgy bank account scam. They sounded proper official but I had my doubts. Luckily, I didn’t say much and decided to hang up straight away. Seems these scam calls are getting more clever, pretending to be officers and all. Stay alert, everyone!

I chose not to pick up since the number was unfamiliar to me. It rang for merely around twenty seconds. Clearly a scam call!
