Got a call from someone named Lisa claiming to be from the installer show, she wanted to speak to the MD. When I asked what it was about, she just repeated 'installer show' and didn’t explain anything else. I didn't pass the call on. Feels like it might be one of those scam calls.

got a call on friday 13th may 2022, and in the background i could tell it was one of them call centre places. this woman with an accent said she was from the health & safety advisor and wanted to chat with the managing director. i just told her nicely we weren't keen and then put the number on block.

A foreign individual introduced himself as Jaiden Smith and claimed to be from the mental health department, stating that he wished to discuss matters with HR. Quite an unexpected encounter, I must say!

Got a call from someone I didn't know.

This number rang me about five times this morning. Since it had a local area code, I thought I’d give it a ring back. Turns out it was a call centre with someone speaking in an American accent, going on about how important my call was. I hung up once I heard that - got the info I needed. Definitely not answering if they ring again. Kinda sneaky how they’re using local numbers now!

Got a call with loads of background chatter, said they were looking for a certain person - turned out they made the name up. Told them no one here by that name. When I asked the reason for calling, they got a bit pushy and claimed it was some HR issue, needing to talk to someone in payroll or HR. I explained we don’t deal with cold calls and we’re on the TPS list. They just ended the call after that!
