Got a robo call saying I was in trouble for tax fraud and if I didn’t press 1, I’d get arrested. Proper scam, obviously.

Total scam alert! Got a call from someone claiming to be working for the Queen, saying I had unpaid taxes to sort out. Turns out it’s a classic trick used by some Indian scammers trying to frighten folks into thinking they owe the government money. They even used a well-known bank account and credit card story to try and con me. Luckily, I’ve blocked the number now. Stay sharp, everyone!

I rang the number since it looked a lot like an official HMRC line. After a bit, a recorded voice came on saying there’s no service on that number at the moment. Quite odd really.
