I keep getting calls from this lady claiming she's my neighbourhood energy consultant, asking if there's asbestos up in my loft. Even though my number is on the TPS list, she just keeps ringing. I've asked her to take me off her contact list more than once, but obviously, she hasn't done it.

They keep ringing me from loads of different numbers but all from the same area. I pretended I couldn’t hear a thing and they just put the phone down. Honestly, what’s the use of TPS, ICO, 7726, or Action Fraud when these useless muppets clearly get hold of ex-directory and even TPS protected numbers? This has been going on for months now and still they haven’t been tracked down or punished. Absolute joke.

It appears that I've been continually plagued by the same batch of scoundrels, just ringing me from numerous different numbers. After scouring various forums, I'm relieved I managed to give the impression that I’m hard of hearing, and, thankfully, they quickly disconnected! Seriously, what’s the use of the Telephone Preference Service, ICO, 7726, or Action Fraud when these utter lowlifes can still get their hands on numbers that are ex-directory or registered with TPS? It's been an ongoing saga for months, and they still haven’t been tracked down or brought to justice. What a farce!

Received a call earlier today, but true to form, I let it ring off since I didn’t recognise the number. I believe in the old adage of ‘better safe than sorry’-I can always return the call if needed. However, having perused the information on this site, I have no inclination to do so!

I regret I can't shed any light on who might have been on the other end or what their motives were.

TOTAL SCAM - ALSO CONNECTED TO +44 161 524 4137 This morning at about 9.26, I got a call from this number. The woman on the line had a very unique voice and said she was calling from the "Energy Advisory Department". She told me they've just done some work recently, sounded quite polite and even said sorry for disturbing me. Then at around 11.48, I got another call from +44 161 524 4137. It was the same woman, but when I asked why she’d called earlier from a different number, she immediately cut the call. Definitely not legit.

What a right nuisance these blighters are! They keep ringing me from various numbers but it’s clearly the same dodgy bunch. After reading countless comments on different platforms, I’m rather chuffed I pretended to be hard of hearing-they quickly hung up on me! Seriously, what’s the use of the TPS, ICO, 7726, or Action Fraud when these absolute lowlifes can get hold of ex-directory and TPS-registered numbers? It’s been months of this annoyance, and still no sign of anyone being caught or taken to task!

I finally chose to answer. Was waiting to hear anyone talk. Then, just a few moments in, the call ended abruptly.
