My phone buzzed and I picked up straight away, probably within two rings. There was that typical pause where it seemed a robot was trying to find someone to talk to me. Then, an operator came on for a couple of seconds but neither of us said a word. After about two seconds of silence, they just hung up on me. Pretty usual telemarketing stuff really.

I got calls three times in a row, each one coming like clockwork an hour apart, all from numbers starting with 0127 400 but with different endings. It definitely seems like some sort of automated system or a bank of phones making the calls. It’s really annoying and feels like harassment due to how often they ring. I even had the same thing happen yesterday with calls following the same timing. This really ought to be put to an end.
