I received a rather peculiar call earlier today regarding the expiration of my boiler warranty. The caller claimed they could provide a 30% discount on my previous payments. Naturally, I was curious and asked them who installed my boiler; however, they seemed completely stumped and couldn't specify the installation date either. If memory serves me right, I switched to a solid fuel heating system two years back. To my knowledge, there hasn't been any warranty in play, and I certainly haven't been making any payments for one.
