Someone said they were ringing from Greenpeace. Mentioned a petition against plastic pollution I apparently signed ages ago. They wanted me to set up a monthly DONATION and asked for my bank info which I wasn’t ready to give. Felt like a scam, so I said I’d check out their site and then ended the call.

Greenpeace kept ringing me loads of times even after I told them straight on the phone and also emailed that I didn’t want any more calls and asked them to delete my info from their list. I’ve now reported them to the Information Commissioner’s Office today.

The thing is, I did sign a petition but never got calls from Greenpeace before so it seemed fishy. I told them to phone me back in two hours. After having a quick look online and checking other comments about the same number, I worked out it’s probably a scam. They’ve tried calling again but I ignored it this time.
