As if that wasn't infuriating enough, they then rudely told her to inform her father to go and p*** off! I'm desperate for any advice on how to put an end to this nonsense.

I received a call from a chap whose speech was rather muddled. He mentioned my name, which was rather peculiar. It was difficult to ascertain which organisation he represented; it almost sounded like he was saying "Steve." The moment I requested him to clarify, he abruptly ended the call. How rude!

I received a call from a rather impolite chap hailing from Liverpool, who seemed quite worked up about a recent accident that I wasn't even aware of. He mentioned that he was from a firm called First Response. It's rather frustrating, especially since their company is supposed to be registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I attempted to return the call, but there's simply no connection. As for the caller, I have no clue who it was.

Does anyone know who these callers are? They've been ringing me persistently over the past 45 minutes, a total of three times! My mobile number is listed with the Telephone Preference Service, so this is rather frustrating. Could they please just stop?
