This number has been ringing me constantly even though I’ve ignored it loads of times. I reckon it’s cos I once picked up ages back, so now they probably reckon my number is real and worth ringing again. Honestly, I’d put my money on it being some sort of scam.

someone rang me pretending to be from carphone warehouse offering a better deal on a sim. i told them i’ve never dealt with carphone warehouse before, so i had no idea why they’d be calling me. the lady was quite nice and even knew my name, but didn’t press me for any other details after that. still feels a bit dodgy tho, could easily be a well done scam!

Got a couple of calls from 01273936188 this morning but when I answered, all I could hear was silence. They left a voicemail too, but there was no message on it. Decided to block the number.

I've registered my mobile with the TPS to avoid these types of calls, and as far as I know, it’s never been shared with any company I’ve dealt with. Seems like it shouldn’t be on any business list at all.

I've put them on the do not call list with TPS and reported to Ofcom, but they just won't stop ringing. Probably because I picked up a few times, they reckon the number's legit and keep at it.

this number called me a few times, 2 times yesterday and once again just now. but as soon as I answered they hung up immediately! looks like spam to me, should I go ahead and block it?

I got a call from this number asking about the cost of my phone bill, claiming they wanted to help me upgrade. I told them they should already have that info on their system. They said it was some sort of safety check related to data protection, which I should be aware of. I pointed out that they should be confirming my identity and personal details before asking about my bill or bank info. Then, the caller just dropped the call. They rang me again three days later, so be careful and block this number, folks.
