After that, he repeated he was from Virgin Media and asked how I was doing. Luckily, I've had loads of calls like this before and they always turn out to be scams. I just said I’d contact Virgin Media directly and ended the call. Watch out for these sorts of calls, they’re only looking to rob you blind. Then, she swiftly transitioned to informing me that my washing machine cover was on the verge of expiring in just two days and conveniently offered me a three-year extension for £66.
