I got a call from someone claiming they were from security working for my bank, but I was really doubtful since they kept pressing me for personal info. Apart from giving my name, I was really wary that something wasn’t right. When they mentioned those two big transactions, I just found it hilarious. Then they tried one last time, asking about my account balance. I told them I was heading to my bank to clear things up and that was the end of it. My bank’s constant warnings about not sharing details definitely saved me here.
