Got a call at work from this number saying they were from my bank, telling me Amazon was about to take £1000 from my account. They asked me to press some buttons, which seemed fishy, so I just ended the call. Checked my bank later and nothing was wrong. Not really sure who to tell about this but feels like a scam or some kind of phishing attempt...

So, turns out it was some Home Guard warranty trying to fish for my personal details. When I mentioned I already had contents insurance that covers all, the bloke just laughed. I didn’t waste any time and ended the call straight away.
