Got loads of calls off this one number, and I finally picked up once. The bloke claimed he was ringing from Windows and said my PC was at risk (had to try a few times 'cause his accent was so thick I could barely catch what he was saying). I found it a right laugh, seeing as I only use my work laptop, so I just started chuckling and he hung up. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed - I was on a long drive and was hoping to mess about with him for a while!

I looked up "Save you money" on Companies House and theres no legit company with that name in Brighton or anywhere. There is a firm called "Save Your Money Ltd" but its based in Warrington. This phone number seems dodgy to me 01273806513. Definitely feels like a scam.

My phone rang twice with this number, and each time I answered with a casual greeting, mentioning that the snow had melted away. Strangely enough, they just cut off the call. Quite odd behaviour, if you ask me!

Reported to TPS, but those idiots rang me again the very next day. Fingers crossed they get hit with a fine for breaking the rules. I’d really recommend anyone registered with TPS to report EVERY unwanted call you get, since it’s illegal. If folks just block them and do nothing else, these calls won't stop. They might still try, but with enough complaints, hopefully, they’ll face consequences.

I've received a few calls that kick off with "can you hear me?" and let me tell you, it's best to just stay silent. It’s quite clear after a couple of rings that they're just after something dodgy. They ring incessantly, and the moment I don’t reply, they simply disconnect. If you happen to answer one of these calls, I recommend just sitting in silence; it's amusing to watch them give up and hang up on you! After that, go ahead and block the number-best decision you can make!

I had a rather frustrating encounter with a woman called Kate from Save You Money. When I mentioned that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), she assured me that it was simply a matter of answering a few questions to help reduce unwanted calls. I informed her that I had already signed up for TPS precisely for that reason, and that her call was indeed in violation of it. At that point, she seemed to lose interest and hung up. I've now gone ahead and blocked that number since TPS clearly missed the mark on filtering it out. I did some digging online and found a link to saveurmoney.co.uk, but it turned out to be defunct-no such site appears to be operational anymore.
