some bloke called up saying my tv warranty was about to end. i asked him which brand the tv was and he said samsung. i told him to take it up with whoever gave him that rubbish coz ive never had a samsung tv. just another muppet trying their luck getting your bank or card info to scam you. if people know where these muppets are, why dont the authorities just shut them down?

Got a call saying my washing machine insurance was nearly up. When I told them I didn’t want to buy any insurance, they kept pushing and asking why. Felt like a classic sales trick to rope people in.

I got a call from someone saying my washing machine's breakdown cover was ending soon, which is weird since I've never actually got any breakdown cover. Still, the bloke sounded really polite and you could see how some folks might get tricked by him.

Got a call from someone claiming to be homecare, saying they wanted to renew my contract. I already sorted it back in July, so yeah, totally feels like a scam to me.
