I got a call from someone claiming it was about renewing the service plan for my washing machine. They rattled off some of my info, which was a bit worrying, then went on about these huge savings if I signed up. I kept asking them to send the details by post so I could chat with my partner first, but they kept pressing. After telling them repeatedly, I finally hung up after saying goodbye. The person was polite and seemed to know my information well but was quite pushy trying to get me to commit right then and there. No idea who they were or what company they worked for.
