Got a robo call saying my internet's gonna be cut off soon. They told me to hit a button to chat with someone who could sort it out. I just ended the call instead.

Just got a call from 01273714083 at 12.44 today. I answered and some bloke asked if I was Miss xxxxx. Told him I wasn’t, then he just ended the call straight away! I reckon he was trying to get hold of my mum but she wasn’t home, couldn’t even say that before he slammed the phone down on me. Proper rude! I’m going to block this number for sure.

Today, someone rang me up about five times, each time asking if my husband was there. Weirdly, they started chatting about a washing machine we owned like two decades ago. Quite strange!

Some bloke called me trying to sell a new warranty for my appliances. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to take my number off his list. He didn’t take it well and sounded proper annoyed, so I just ended the call.

I stopped picking up this number ages ago. The few times I answered, they tried telling me I needed to renew insurance for my washing machine or some other device. Thing is, I already have all my appliances covered through a different firm, definitely not the one calling me.

Got a call from a Brighton number saying they were from premierprotect 365[###]. They mentioned a website, but the address on there is for Preston, which seems dodgy to me. Feels like a total con to me. Would be careful with these sorts of calls.

Got a call from 01273 714083 today. They were asking for my mum, said she was buying a washing machine or something like that. Thing is, she’s not buying one and we definitely don’t live anywhere near Bracknell like they claimed. When I started asking her more about it, the woman got really rude and just hung up on me! I’ve blocked the number now.

Just like others have said, this caller asked for me by name, then launched straight into saying my washing machine warranty was nearly up and asked if I wanted to talk about renewing it. I told them to just send the renewal details in the post and I’ll decide after having a look. They agreed and then quickly ended the call. My machine does have a valid warranty until October, but definitely not through some random cold call like this!

I kept getting calls from them, sometimes up to six times every single day. Not once did they leave a voicemail. Honestly, they’re just a total nuisance.

Got a call from someone who knew my name. They said my washing machine warranty was nearly up and wanted to talk about renewing it. I told them to just send me the details by post and I would look into it. They said alright and hung up. My washer actually still has a valid warranty that lasts till October, been covered since I bought it. I’ve blocked the number now. The caller didn’t say what company they were from.

Like many here, I got a call from someone calling herself "Victoria" from Premier Protect (not sure why they don't bother with capital letters). She was trying to sell me a washing machine warranty. When I asked for her contact details, she just ended the call. Bit disappointing that the government's proud of record low unemployment but that seems to mean people stuck in scam call centres. The woman's voice oddly reminded me of our local MP Elisabeth Truss - maybe she's finally found what she's meant to be doing. I’ve since reported the number to the ICO.

Got a bloke on the phone, sounded English, who jumped in when I said I was sick of getting calls from people like him. Then he asked, “What do you mean, white and English?” I tried to explain I just don’t want any cold calls about my washing machine. Before I could finish he called me a racist and hung up on me! What a cheeky, arrogant idiot 🤬🤨

So on the 13th of August 2019, around half past three in the afternoon, I got a call about my washing machine insurance expiring. They said I could renew a 3 year plan for just £225, which sounded a bit off. Then they asked for my debit card details. I told them, "Are you kidding? Why would I give you my card when you just rang out of nowhere?" The bloke got annoyed, said I was wasting his time, and then just hung up on me. What a muppet!
