Be wary of this number - it’s connected to cold calls from people pretending to be from Ideal World. When you ring them back, they always ask for your number, probably just to sell it on or keep calling you. I’ve flagged them up with Brighton’s Trading Standards and the TPS because if you’ve already told Ideal World not to market to you, then this lot might be using your info illegally. Properly shady behaviour.

I received a phone call claiming to be from an online shopping channel, and the chap on the other end, who said his name was James, informed me that I was due to receive a complimentary gift shortly. However, there was a catch-I’d have to fork out nearly £3 for postage. Doesn’t feel very complimentary, does it? My eldest son has since warned me that this might be a rather large scam, so do keep your guard up!
