5 yearsI received a call from 01273 665144 on 11th February 2021 at precisely 1:26 PM. The person on the line was rambling nonsensically about domestic insurance while claiming to represent my late mother (?!). I informed them that she had passed away in 2006, and to my surprise, they quickly hung up, clearly expecting an earful of colourful language in response. The caller had a Scottish lilt to their voice and was clearly working from some ancient information, to say the least. One would assume that these scammers would have the sense to update their records! It’s absolutely ridiculous how they’re attempting to swindle folk using outdated lists from home insurance companies. I may be advancing in years, but I’m not completely out of touch!
