6 yearsI received a rather pleasant phone call earlier today from a chap who was well-spoken, offering me some sort of discount on the warranties for my washing machine and fridge freezer. He claimed that I had purchased extended warranties back in 2017 for the washing machine and in 2018 for the fridge. This was quite unexpected as I typically avoid extended warranties. I mentioned to him that I'd check my bank statements for those particular years to see if there had indeed been any deductions for warranties or insurance. Fortunately, there were no transactions noted for those times. The gentleman mentioned he would ring me again (although I’m rather sceptical about that).
