Someone phoned my mum saying they needed to come and inspect her flat for asbestos. Usually, the landlord sorts all that stuff out for everyone living there, so it felt a bit dodgy, especially since no one else has had a call like this. Plus, my mum’s flat isn’t even the one on the top floor! Also, just this week, another tenant’s place was visited by a man who said he was there to fix her boiler, but ended up stealing £300. She’s quite vulnerable too. I’m not saying these two things link up, but it does make me worried about who really called my mum.
