I must admit, I was quite foolish a few months back when I fell victim to this number, losing £469 in the process. Of course, I’ve since gone ahead and changed all my cards and bank info to secure myself. But lo and behold, I received another call today from someone claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. They mentioned they’d tracked down the culprits and were ready to reimburse me. Not a chance, mate! Not falling for that again. x
