Some bloke was real rude, didn’t say anything when I answered, and then just cut me off after I asked him to say again. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy scam calls.

I got a call and immediately thought it might be some kind of con, but it turned out they weren’t trying to sell me anything. They actually got in touch about a dent on my car I didn’t even know could get me compensation for. Took about a month or so, but in the end I got a cheque for £1800 through the post. Loads of folks on these forums banging on about scams and nonsense, but honestly, don’t listen to the paranoid lot who’ve had a mishap in their system. If you’ve had an accident, definitely give them a shout, you’ll be glad when that cheque lands.

Received a call on my mobile from someone asking if I was Mr. M**** B****. They claimed to be from an *unqualified* legal firm and mentioned something about me being involved in a car accident before cutting the line without warning.

I reckon they're just trying to reel in unsuspecting victims for whatever dodgy purpose!

I received a rather intrusive call from this number, inquiring about a supposed car accident I was involved in. I couldn't believe my ears and blurted out something quite exasperated. The caller, clearly lacking any manners, promptly hung up on me. Curious, I tried returning the call only to be greeted by an American voice requesting me to hold. Honestly, unless you're on a pay-as-you-go plan with free calls, I'd strongly advise against returning the call!

What a terrible bloke! He claimed he owned the call centre he was phoning from. Just like others, he started with the usual "road traffic accident" scam. When I told him I wasn’t interested in dealing with random calls because I’ve been through three heart surgeries since June 20th, 2016, he just brushed it off and told me to quit feeling sorry for myself. Seriously, one of the most horrible guys I’ve ever dealt with.

I recently received my accident file regarding a claim that isn’t my fault. In response to a query, I simply said, “Really?” When asked to verify if the information given was accurate, I thought I’d humour the situation, so I replied, “Feel free to continue.” To my surprise, I was met with quite a curt reply, “There’s no sense in continuing if it’s inaccurate,” before the line went dead. What a delightful way to waste an afternoon!
