Got called loads of times in one day by some tech support scammers pretending to be from BT. They’re using phone numbers with local codes to fool folks now. Each time they ring they’ve got a different number, which is really suspicious.

Today I got called three times, all from different numbers, all with Asian accents. Two of them said they were Kevin from BT Openreach about my fibre optic line. I told the first two times that I’m not with BT and asked them to take me off their list and stop ringing me. The third guy was proper pushy, saying every fibre cable is done by BT (which isn’t true) and when I kept telling him that, he just said, “Oh, you think you’re so smart” and hung up on me! What a laugh.
