This seems like one of those dodgy cryptocurrency scams, don’t you think? Definitely wouldn't trust it.

Pretty sure this was one of those dodgy crypto scams.

Terminate the call and add to your block list! Claimed to be affiliated with some cryptocurrency platform, but the language was all over the place and extremely aggressive. They insisted I fork out £50 to connect me with their investors and offer a so-called introduction to Crypto. It all kicked off with a survey about cryptocurrency, promising no strings attached; however, it quickly turned into a clear-cut scam.

Pretty sure this was a scam. Some bloke from a crypto exchange rang me up and spent ages asking loads of questions about what I thought about crypto and if I had any experience with it. He didn’t seem to be rushing at all to make any sort of sales pitch. I thought, if someone’s trying to scam people, wouldn’t they want to get to the point faster so it’s less obvious and quicker? Seems a bit odd to drag it out like that.

I just let it ring since I wasn't expecting anyone to phone me.

Got a call from a lady but couldnt make out what she was saying. Watch out!

This crypto scam is seriously slick - sounds way more convincing than the typical ones. It’s pretty risky since they’ve obviously practised it a lot and it feels super smooth.

Received a rather unpleasant phone call from someone extremely rude.

Received a call today claiming I’d registered for something I definitely didn’t. I requested to be removed from their marketing list, and they simply hung up on me. Clearly nothing but con artists!

I received a voicemail claiming there’s been suspicious activity regarding my National Insurance number. Sounded like a scam to me!

I received a dodgy phone call from someone trying to chat about some cryptocurrency funds of mine supposedly awaiting withdrawal. I played along for a while, and they claimed I have more than £25,000 in Bitcoin just sitting around, waiting for me. To access this cash, they insisted I needed to fork out £1,250 first, but they'd refund that deposit when I made my withdrawal. Talk about a blatant scam…

The message tends to follow a format similar to this: "Greetings [NAME]. I've been informed that you're keen on trading in cryptocurrency... and so on."

I received a call from this number that I didn't recognise at all. With all the dodgy scams floating around these days, I had my doubts. Thankfully, this site put my mind at ease and confirmed what I was thinking.

I received two consecutive calls from this number. It's typically a sign of those pesky scam calls-often about cryptocurrency or from some dodgy outfit claiming to be the 'Tax Office,' warning that my national insurance number is on the brink of being cancelled unless I return the call immediately. It's always some chap or chapess with a comically exaggerated 'British' accent, thinking they're still in the days of the Empire with those rolling 'r's. Quite laughable, really!

Received a rather persistent phone call from someone keen on persuading me to dive into cryptocurrency trading. Quite the nuisance, isn’t it?

I received a call from a company dealing in cryptocurrencies, though I couldn't quite make out the name they mentioned. They claimed that I had supposedly subscribed to a mailing list or something along those lines. Naturally, I have absolutely no recollection of doing any such thing.
