Got a call supposedly from HMRC, but it was definitely a scam. The caller used a robotic female voice calling herself Janice Gray, telling me or my solicitor to ring them back on 01218285516 or there would be 'serious consequences'. Completely dodgy!

I received a rather dubious call claiming to be from HMRC, featuring an automated voice, which introduced itself as Janice Gray. The message insisted that either I or my solicitor should return the call to 01218285516, threatening dire repercussions if we did not comply. Definitely feels like a scam to me!
