Got a ring from 01273 381699, someone saying they were from TalkTalk support. They told me there was an issue with my router that needed fixing. I told them everything seemed fine, the white light was steady as always. She seemed puzzled then insisted the problem was on my end. Once I started grilling her with tougher questions, she just went quiet and hung up.

Got a recorded call claiming to be from Ofcom warning that my internet would be disconnected within a day because of some "odd behaviour." They even named a different internet company than I actually use, so I knew it was dodgy straight away. They asked me to press 1 if the info was wrong (I didn’t bother). Pretty obvious it was a scam.
