Yesterday I got a very similar automated call but from another phone number. They claimed to be Customs and Excise, saying there was some sort of tax issue against me. They warned me that if I didn’t hit 1, I’d be arrested soon. I reckon some folks might get scared and push 1 hoping to find out more. But honestly, don’t press any button. It’s definitely a scam and could end up costing you money.
