As soon as I picked up, they just hung up on me - so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number!

Got a call from a Brighton number but since they didn’t leave a voicemail, I wasn’t expecting it and just ignored it.

I didn’t answer the call since the number was unfamiliar. Later, I decided to ring them back and it turned out to be a firm pushing warranties for household appliances. Oddly, they said my washing machine was an Indesit and barely a year old, which isn’t true as it’s much older. They also had my address and asked when I wanted to activate the warranty. I said no thanks and that was the end of it.
