My father, who is 90, shared his card information with this caller in an attempt to stop those pesky nuisance calls. I'm planning to notify the bank right away. He frequently receives these sorts of calls from various numbers and tends to get a bit muddled by it all.

My 93-year-old mum has been receiving persistent phone calls from this number. They’re purporting to be a television insurance service, then attempting to sell her protection against nuisance calls. They’re pressing for her bank details and such… I advise everyone to be cautious. Thankfully, she hasn’t shared any personal information and has already alerted her bank about this shady operation.

I've just received a call from this number, and when I tried to pick up, the line went dead. This marks the fifth time today that I've experienced something similar!

I received a call from them today as well. They introduced themselves as New Generation Insurance, touting an extended warranty for my three-year-old television. Quite surprisingly, they appeared to know the brand, but I've never interacted with them previously. It could potentially be genuine, but I didn't fancy taking that risk.
