Got a call claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying there was some dodgy stuff happening with my router. They said since there’s no tech support visits these days, I could fix it myself by logging into some website. Bit weird cos I’m with Virgin already and recently had issues with my internet speed anyway. A proper Virgin engineer actually came round and fixed it for me. After a few minutes into the call, I told the guy I suspected it was a scam. Then he started getting really rude, which doesn’t sound like any legit Virgin rep. So I just ended the call.
