got calls from this number three separate days, the first couple times it just buzzed once and then stopped. on the one time I picked up, a woman claimed to be from a claims legal team, talking about some "small car accident you had in the last 3 years", but she had no actual facts or info to back it up (which makes sense since I’ve not had any crashes). total scam if you ask me - a real legal department would proper write a letter not ring and do this vague stuff.

I finally picked up when I got a call from 01273 284910. It was someone from CCS - Complete Claims Services, saying there was an accident I supposedly had back in 2013. They wanted to check I'd received any money I was due from an insurance claim. I told the lady I'd been married for 10 years, never had an accident, and don't go by that last name anymore. She insisted I must have filled out some form online and forgot to opt out of being contacted. When I pressed her on who exactly they were and asked if they were some kind of ambulance chasers, she said we were going in circles, promised to take my info off their list, and then just hung up.
