Got a call from this number earlier but didn’t pick up since I don’t know anyone from Brighton. Think it’s some sort of car insurance scam. Had a crash last year and sorted everything with my insurer already, so no need for anyone else trying to chase me about that. Been getting loads of calls from different numbers all round the UK, and every time, I just block ’em. Also registered with the telephone preference service, so my number shouldn’t be getting shared with these types anyway.

They actually said my name right, but then went on about a car crash I supposedly had last year. Thing is, I never had any accident. I told them to jog my memory since I own a handful of cars, and they gave me a made up licence plate. I just laughed, and the person quickly said there must be some kind of mix-up before cutting me off.

Got a call from an unknown number, no voicemail left either. The number’s not familiar and I’ve no mates or contacts in Brighton. I tried looking it up on Google but nothing showed up. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of dodgy calls about tax scams, car crashes, and even covid stuff - this might just be another one of those.
