This morning, we got a call from this number claiming our washing machine warranty was about to expire and we had to renew right away. My husband wasn't having any of it and didn’t want to share any personal info. The woman on the other end got really insistent after that. When my husband asked if they could send the details through the post instead, she said that wasn’t how they worked. She even tried to pressure us by saying we’d be left without any coverage and insisted the price dropped from £99 to £88! Yeah right, in today’s world prices never go down like that. Luckily, we’re clued up about these scams, but older folks might fall for it easily. Definitely a dodgy call - no genuine company acts this way. Stay alert!
