Got a call from this number on my cell. It was one of those robotic female voices spouting some message, so I hung up straight away. Pretty clear it's just another scam attempt.

There was a voicemail saying it was from an insurance firm but no one was free to talk when I called back. Since my phone flagged the number as maybe a scam, I just ended the call straight away.

I’m pretty sure she mentioned the name Aspire, although I can’t be totally certain. She claimed they handled the insurance for my washing machine, saying it had expired as it was two years old. She even knew the brand and gave me an address, but it was one I’d left over a year ago. I told her I actually have five years of coverage, not just two. Then she said their records must be incorrect and just put the phone down. It all seemed a bit dodgy to me, but I can’t say for sure. My phone also flagged the call as possible spam.
