Got a voicemail from a robotic voice saying it was from the tax office. They said I needed to ring back or I’d face legal trouble. Sounds like a total scam to me.

got a weird call on my mobile, just caught part of a robotic female voice talking with an american accent. it was supposed to be the uk tax office but why would they call from a brighton number and speak with an american tone? also, they don’t have my mobile details on file. definitely looks dodgy to me. blocked the number straight away.

Got a recorded message from a woman saying she was from the Inland Revenue and to ring back straight away. I don’t see any reason why they’d need to get in touch with me. They left a number for me to call back.
