Got a call from a number that looked like it was from my local area code - bit odd if you ask me. The guy on the line called himself “John Wilson,” but he had a really strong South Asian accent. He claimed to be with Virgin Media and wanted to check on my internet service. Totally came across as a scam, really frustrating. I’ve blocked the number now.
