This number keeps popping up and I’ve had a few calls from it and others kinda like it. Luckily, my call blocker stopped this one. I’m pretty sure these calls are dodgy and probably some kind of scam or fraud. I always make it a point to report these to Action Fraud and also notify the telephone preference service. Better to be safe with these sorts of calls!

Got a call at 6:05pm, and honestly, this ought to be marked as SCAM, definitely not Neutral. I answered and said "Sounds like a SCAM to me," and they just let the phone go dead right away. If that’s not a scam, then what else could it be? I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from some spammer who kept hinting I’d joined some market surveys. As soon as I called them out on it, they just ended the call.

Got this number blocked by my call blocker. They’ve called me a few times, plus some numbers that looked almost the same. To me it seems like a scam or something dodgy, so I’m careful with them. Whenever I get calls like that I usually report them to Action Fraud and sign up the number with the phone preference registry too.

On my BT landline in Brighton, number 01273 092234, I got a call on Wednesday 13th Sept 23. There was silence at first, then some weird static, so I ended the call. This usual nonsense always ends up being some annoying sales pitch or pointless survey. I really don’t have the time for these calls. I’ve already reported it at bt.com/scams.

Got a call about loft insulation that seemed identical to others folks mentioned here. They started with the classic "I’m not trying to sell anything," then went on about checking if I qualified for some government grants. They said they needed to ask me some questions. At one point, the caller insisted, "I’m a real person," but honestly, it all felt robotic. When I gave an answer they weren’t expecting, they got all confused. The call finished with them quickly saying "OK, no problem, goodbye" around four times in a row - does anyone believe a genuine person would do that?

Got the typical "I’m not trying to sell you anything" line. They said they were checking for government grants and wanted to ask me some questions. Then after a bit of quiet, they asked if I own my house and if I’m over 80 years old. They then said I wasn’t eligible and just ended the call. Nothing felt sketchy or threatening (I hope I judged right there). Also, there was no hassle or pushy behaviour. So, I gave it an "Unknown" rating because honestly, I don’t really understand what was the point of the call.

It was kind of a robotic voice on the line, asking questions, saying it wasn’t a sales pitch but offering a £1500 voucher for some kind of government insulation scheme for my home. I told them I wasn’t interested, but the voice just kept pushing. Felt really annoying, but they seemed like they wanted more info from me. I really can’t stand these unexpected calls.

Pretty sure this is a scam so watch out and dont get caught by it!
