They rang while I was out. There was someone with an American accent telling me my voicemail was full, sounded like they wanted me to call back. Didn’t take the bait though, ended up looking up the number instead.

On Friday the 21st of February, a bloke rang us up saying our washing machine’s warranty had expired and offered to renew it for £65. Thing is, the manufacturer still covers our washer and the warranty’s definitely still valid. I told him I’d have a look at the documents, and he said he’d call back on Monday. Honestly, I don’t reckon he’ll bother ringing again.

My mum and dad got a call from this number, and they said it was from the company I work for. They’re quite old and freaked out thinking something bad had happened. Got a call from someone claiming to be Team Knowhow, saying my warranty was about to expire and I needed to renew it. Just a heads up, Team Knowhow never do any call-outs! Sounds like a scam to me.

I got a message saying the voicemail for 01273082231 was full, which struck me as odd. Thought maybe it was one of those pesky automated calls messing up. But when I tried ringing back, it just rang out with that “number can’t be reached” sound. Definitely a dodgy number if you ask me.

Since I already got a new machine lined up, I just thanked him and ended the call. This was about 1:07pm on 29/1/20. Interestingly, I missed a couple of calls from numbers close to this one yesterday - 01273082225 and 01273082226 - probably the same folks ringing again.
