I've been inundated with calls from 1st Home Improvements, despite my clear requests for them to cease contact. Just this year alone, I've received a staggering ten calls from them! It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

Had a similar experience - received a rather abrupt cold call about some sort of partial government grant for energy-efficient windows. The woman (I think her name was Pearl?) seemed a bit hurried, but since I’m in need of new windows anyhow, I ended up saying yes to an appointment. Do you reckon that was a clever decision or might I have bitten off more than I can chew?

I received a call about replacing my windows, especially for those over five years old. They didn’t clarify whether it was a complimentary service or part of a government-backed energy initiative. When I mentioned that I wasn’t keen on it, the caller seemed to accept my response. However, I still see it as a direct marketing call, and given that I’m on the telephone preference service list, I really shouldn't have had to deal with it.
