Got a call about my washing machine warranty running out - which is weird cos I never even had one. The person kept insisting I should get one though. My machine's been going strong for like 16 years now. When I said I wasn’t interested, she kept pushing, so I just hung up. This Dot person has rung me like half a dozen times from different numbers.

some bloke rang me claiming to be from "sky protection." i told him he must’ve dialled the wrong number. as I ended the call, i could hear him whine softly, “why d’you think that, Sir?” he never rang back though.

Had pretty much the same experience as some others here with a call about a washing machine, they seemed to have an idea about the brand. They even knew my full name and where I lived. I asked who they were and they said they were from "Premium Protect" or something like that. Can’t find any info online about this company though, seems a bit dodgy to me.

They didn’t leave a single message on my answerphone, probably because it was some kind of scam. Honestly, I reckon the police ought to pay them a visit and have a chat about what they’re up to.

Got a call from this number but when I picked up, there was nobody there - just one of those irritating spam calls. It’s about time action was taken against these jokers. They can track these numbers without any hassle, so why not slap a fine on them or even put them behind bars? Such a waste of time!

Some guy rang me about 'the washing machine'. He somehow had my name and where I live, and said the warranty had expired, but reckoned it was still working fine - is that correct? I wasn’t having it and ended the call pretty quickly. - caller: Ian
