Received a call from number 1449 on 7th May 2020. The person asked if I had life insurance with Company X, which I do. Then they wanted my date of birth, but I politely declined to give it. When I asked what their call was about, they said something related to insurance and that they couldn’t continue unless I confirmed my identity. But I don’t recall them saying they were actually from Company X, which is the firm I have insurance with. We ended the chat quite calmly. Could be an insurance agent or maybe a scammer - better to stay cautious than risk anything.
