Today, I received a rather unexpected phone call from an Asian lady using a number I didn’t recognise. She was keen to sell me an extended warranty for my rather ancient washing machine. To say I was taken aback would be an understatement! Thankfully, I've come across information regarding such schemes before, so I was able to recognise it as a scam straight away.

This number kept ringing me up day after day but never bothered to leave any message. Got curious and looked it up only to see loads of the same complaints. I’ve blocked it now. Just don’t get why they won’t stop calling.

Ever since the start of the year, I've been getting daily calls from numbers that only change by one digit at the end. It's really annoying. Today, I finally picked up and a woman started talking about some insurance for my washing machine or something like that. I just ended the call straight away and blocked all those numbers.

A chap rang me about a washing machine warranty, which is odd as that expired ages ago, like 20 years or more! When I questioned where he got my info from, he was a bit dodgy at first. Then when I mentioned the law says he must tell me if I ask, he suddenly offered to put me through to his manager. Of course, no manager ever came on. Instead, he told me to email a certain address he gave. I asked what company he was with, and he said 'National Home Cover', which matched the email. I tried looking it up on Google, but couldn’t find any legit company by that name at all!

they were calling from numbers ending in 35 and 36 so i blocked them, now theyre ringing from one ending in 37. honestly, just stop, im sick of these annoying calls!
