Total con job! Received a call regarding a warranty that's long expired for my washing machine. They couldn't even identify what make it was. They had my mobile number and address, but my washer is older than that, so the retailer I bought it from wouldn’t have those particulars. I've noticed several different numbers coming through, all with ties to Brighton.

Just gave me a bell to chat about extending the warranty on my washing machine, claiming it had expired. I found it rather amusing since I only purchased it last week—how could it possibly be out of warranty already? Quite the cheeky scammer! Hehe, I promptly hung up on them.

Yesterday at half past four, I received a call from a chap called John, and later in the evening around nine thirty-three, I was also bothered by a call from an unknown number. It turned out to be him again. Earlier in the day, he spoke rather eloquently, informing me that the warranty on my washing machine was coming up for renewal. Quite odd in retrospect!

Received a dubious call requesting my banking information. They had the cheek to know my name, number, and address, claiming that my washing machine – which is about 5 or 6 years old – required some sort of cover. Total fraud!
