I got a call pretending to be about my Bosch washing machine, and funny enough, they knew when I bought it. Makes me wonder who’s leaking our info to these scammer folks. Apparently, over 5,000 people have checked this number - that’s like 1 in every 10, so imagine how many folks might have had their details shared with these con artists. Proper shame, really...

This is like the third time I’ve got a call from this number this week. The first time I picked up, nobody said a word, so I ended up whistling really loudly into the phone. Honestly, I’d tell anyone getting these weird silent calls to do the same - maybe if enough of us blast a whistle, they’ll get the message! Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire!

I said, "Thanks for being polite, you’re the nicest caller I’ve had all day," which was a clear sign they were trying to scam me. They claimed the warranty on my washing machine had expired, but I’ve never even owned one since I rent my flat. I just stayed quiet on the phone until they eventually gave up and ended the call. They hung around on the line for a bit after that... maybe they were just tuning into my radio playing in the background!

Got a call earlier about my washing machine, which was odd. I just ended the call, searched the number online and stumbled upon this site. Curiosity got the better of me, so I dialled them back. Right after one ring, someone picked up and asked for me by name. I told them straight up I knew it was a scam, claimed I’m a hacker and said I had their address and would alert the police... they just hung up! Not really a hacker here, I’m rubbish at that stuff, but it definitely freaked them out a bit. Sending good vibes to everyone!

Got a ring from 01273033891 today. The bloke on the line was saying my washing machine’s warranty was about to run out and he wanted to send me some papers to renew it. I found it fishy since we bought a brand new machine just a few months back. Ended up hanging up straight away.

Anyone who purports to know that your appliance, in my instance a washing machine, had its warranty expired should certainly be able to provide the commencement date of said policy when prompted. The mere fact that their only response was that it was three years old, without any further details apart from the make of the machine, struck me as utterly amusing. I pointed out to them that their inability to furnish me with such crucial information raised red flags, leading them to come across as rather dubious. Their rebuttal was to assert their legitimacy by mentioning they are listed on Companies House, which, I must say, anyone can do provided they fill out the requisite forms and pay the necessary fees. They also crowed about their glowing Trustpilot reviews, which, let's be honest, can easily be manipulated.

As soon as they started rambling about ‘your washing machine,’ I knew it was some kinda scam. I told them to stop calling, and they instantly got all rude like no proper call centre would. Then they just hung up on me. Totally fishy, I’m just blocking that number now.
