He rang me up about my washing machine warranty supposedly expiring, but I had no clue what company he was from. The machine is like a decade old and I’ve never signed up for any extra warranty stuff. He tried to get my card info to set up a new warranty, but didn’t even know the brand or model of the machine. I told him it sounded dodgy to me, probably one of those cold calls, and then he just hung up.
