It seemed alright at first since the number was from Barnstaple, so I didn’t expect it to be a bother. Turns out, it was exactly that.

Lately, I've noticed loads of calls coming through to my landline from different places across the UK and even Canada, mostly on weekdays. Whenever I pick up, there’s no one there - just a robot voice that says goodbye, sounds exactly like the BT automated messages. But I’m pretty sure it’s not actually BT ringing me. - Martin

They gave me a ring but no one picked up. If it happens again, I’m just gonna block the number.
