Got a call from 01271 880655, looks like it’s a local number but it’s definitely dodgy. According to BT, no one around here owns that number. A robot said it was from my bank, claiming my card got charged £1499 and £799.95. Then told me to press 1 to speak to someone. I pressed 1 and said, “Mate, I’m skint, you won’t get even a penny off me.” Also told them I never shop online ‘cause I can’t afford it. These scammers really crack me up.
