I got a call from someone claiming to be from the Govt Advisory Dept in Manchester. They already had my address and number and asked for my DOB. They told me they’d be sending a cheque for bank fees and said they'd call me back Monday around 10am.

Some guy with an Asian accent, said his name was Sean, phoned me saying my PPI claim went through. I said just send a cheque, but he wouldn’t have it, said it’s only cash and I must go pick it up at his place. Then he actually gave me his home address.

They claimed to be from some kind of claims organisation, but honestly their accent was so hard to catch, I couldn’t make out half of what they were saying.
