I rang Vodafone and they said they’ve blocked the number now. Turns out it’s not even a Vodafone number, weirdly enough.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be with Vodafone, saying he wanted to check over my account. You could hear a lot of background noise like he was in one of those call centres. The number had my local Bamstaple area code, which made me unsure if it was legit or just a scam.
